Travel Expenses

As mobile therapists you will be used to travelling to & from properties to carry out treatments.  We understand that this is part and parcel of your role but would like to support you with your travelling costs. 

On occasion you may be asked to travel further than 'normal', on these occasions we will pay 40p per mile for mileage over 40 miles away from your home.  Any mile over 40 miles, each way, is charged at 40p, to calculate your mileage use the below table for guidance.  Once calcuated please add this to your time sheet as an expense, many thanks x

My Personal Sanctuary uses both Google Maps & Microsoft Mappoint to calculate journey times & distances.  We believe that expenses based on mileage rather than journey time is the fairest way for all.

Wage

With each event last between 4-8 hours & with an hourly wage of £20, you can earn between £80 & £160 per event.  In addition manager’s fees apply where there is more than one therapist on site.  The managers fee is £6 per therapist checked, so if you check three therapists (not including yourself) you will earn £18.  Manager for the day is selected randomly.

• Events are normally a minimum of 4hrs but you could be working for 6 to 8hrs (Breaks included)

• We provide free in house training sessions, continual training support in the form of MPS Video Clips & Treatment Procedures.
• We supply a branded uniform - Keeps your clothes protected!
• My Personal Sanctuary is a company who understand that it is not always easy to start up; and so we provide Starter Kits to our new therapist. These kits are designed to give you a feel for our beautiful product ranges and to allow you to enjoy giving Guests Organic treatments.  They will be loaned to you for a few events whilst you get off on your own feet and this will allow you to earn.  To cover postage and packaging as well a small donation to the products costs £5-10 will be deducted from wages.  After each event please return the starter kit (we will include/attach a return address) to us to enable others to benefit from this help and to allow us as a team to continue to expand and grow.  Thank you.

Job Requirements

·         Dependable, willing individuals who  relish the opportunity to be a part of a first class team of therapists working freelance, delivering beautiful organic branded treatments in 5 star properties.

·         Fully qualified in Beauty Therapy Level 3 NVQ, ITEC or equivalent. We will ask you to provide a copy of your diploma.

·         Insurance: You must have valid insurance to carry out all the treatments that we provide to our guests. We will also ask you to provide a copy of your insurance certificate.

·         That you have available for use your own equipment such as couch, towels etc

·         Transport: You will need your own transportation to carry your equipment & to travel to the luxury property locations (Sat - Nav is helpful).
