Hope's Hideaway is situated about 75 yards from the main 16th century farm house and gardens. Beyond the farmhouse and only about 300 yards away, you can see the hills of Hall Dale (owned by the National Trust) which lead down to the River Dove and Dovedale.

Hope's Hideaway, like Bremen's Barn is basically upside down.  The living area, kitchen and dining areas are upstairs, along with bedroom 4.  The remaining three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the ground floor comfortably accommodating 8 people and a cot.
