Henley Cottage Double Bedroom

Henley Cottage is an authentic Victorian farm labourer’s dwelling (one of a pair), which has been carefully restored to retain its original 19th century condition, and is to be featured in a BBC television series filmed at Acton Scott in 2008. Holiday visitors to Henley Cottage will have the opportunity to enjoy its simple and homely atmosphere and the unique experience of Victorian country living. It offers a real escape from 21st century life.

The first holiday house restored by Rupert Acton was The Shooting Lodge and he has since added Henley Farmhouse, Henley Cottage and Cronkhill Farmhouse. A further property, The Smithy, will become available in 2010. On its completion, Acton Scott will provide self catering holiday house accommodation for some fifty guests.
