The cottages at Pitt Farm have been imaginatively converted from large stone-built barns to offer spacious and private accommodation, ideal for larger parties set in 10 acres of peaceful South Hams countryside.
The Pitt Farm Cottages
All the cottages have fully equipped kitchens; including washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave. All except Cavasson have a dishwasher. Each has a colour TV, DVD player, CD/radio, direct dial phone, garden or terrace and ample parking.
Martingale 10 persons + cot. Two bathrooms
A large cottage offering spacious accommodation on three floors with two double bedrooms, three twin-bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lounge, kitchen and dining room are on the middle floor and utility room on the ground floor.
Pelham 12 persons + Cot. 1 En-suite + 2 bathrooms
This spacious cottage has two double bedrooms, (one with en-suite bathroom and a balcony) and four twin-bedrooms, plus two additional bathrooms, one on the ground floor. The living accommodation comprises of a large kitchen, dining room and lounge plus a utility room. The cottage is suitable for the infirm.
Kineton 8 person + Cot. 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) + WC
Living accommodation is on the first floor, comprising of lounge (with open fire), dining room, kitchen, utility room and wc. There are two double bedrooms (one en-suite) and two twin-bedrooms on the ground floor plus a further bathroom.
Mullen 6 persons + Cot. 1 bathroom + WC
Mullen has a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. Ground floor living accommodation comprises of lounge, dining room, kitchen and wc.
Kimblewick 9 persons + Cot. 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) + WC
Situated next to the pool. On the first floor there are two double en-suite bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, a single bedroom and further bathroom. The ground floor has a lounge (with open fire), dining room, kitchen and utility room with wc.
Snaffle 6 persons + Cot. 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite)
Facing into the courtyard, Snaffle has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and two single bedrooms on the first floor plus an additional bathroom. Ground floor living accommodation includes lounge, dining room and kitchen.
Cavasson 2 + 1 or Cot. 1 bathroom
Cavasson cottage is an annex to farmhouse and sleeps two people. Accommodation comprises of kitchen, lounge with dining area, double bedroom and bathroom.
This beautiful farm is set in 10 acres of peaceful South Hams countryside, yet is only 10 minutes drive from the coast and the towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Totnes. Dartmoor is approximately 20 miles to the north. The village of East Allington is only about 1.5 miles away or 15 to 20 minutes walk, where there is a pub offering excellent food and hospitality.
The farm has an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, solarium, and a tennis court. The children have their own pets corner, with Coco and Rolo the goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs. There is also a play area for the younger children and table tennis and pool for all.
