Littleton Manor Broad Marston Manor,
This historic 17th century Manor house is located in the village of Middle Littleton, approximately 5 miles from the riverside, market town of Evesham. The house sits in 2 acres of semi-formal gardens which include wide, sweeping lawns, leafy arbours and a lavender and box Knot Garden to the front of the property.
The enclosed, flagged, courtyard area leads to the kitchen door, through which you will find the original Cheese Room to the Manor. This makes an excellent cold store and has plenty of fridge/freezer space. The flag-stoned kitchen/breakfast room is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, 2 electric ovens and a 5 ring gas hob as well as warming cupboard. There is also a large farmhouse table and chairs and an open fire to enjoy your morning coffee beside, during the winter months.
The Dining Hall with it's beautiful laid stone floor, certainly has Manorial proportions, and can seat up to 28 guests in comfort - ideal for those special occasions and catered meals. This is flanked by the 2 sitting rooms: the first has an oriental theme and is very cosy with it's open fire, the second has more of a garden room feel and both have large televisions, freeview and DVD players.
Accommodation comprises 10 spacious bedrooms set over 2 floors. The first floor offers 2 king size four poster rooms, a standard double, a king size en-suite and 2 twins rooms( 1 of which is through a secret tunnel!). A staircase gives access to the converted attics where a further 2 twin rooms and 2 double bedrooms can be found (there are several extra beds available, sleeping a maximum of 25, if needed). All rooms have their own unique character and several make ideal family suites. There are 6 bath/shower rooms including the quirky Victorian 2 seater!
Littleton Manor makes an ideal venue for weekends away with friends/family, smaller team-building events and more intimate weddings (with private access to the village church next door!). The village has a pub within 10 mins walk, a small Spa shop and even a fish and chip shop as well as plenty of walks across the nearby countryside and opportunities for a variety of other outdoor pursuits.
